Sponsor Me!

I am extremely gracious for all my sponsors. It’s hard to get sponsorship at the amateur level that I race at, but I aspire to someday race at a national Pro level. If I make it that far, you can say you were a part of it!  If you would like to help support my endeavours and watch me grow as an athlete and human being, please send an email to aardvark31@juno.com

As far as what you’ll be sponsoring me with, well, that’s up to you. You could go as far to help with race entry fees, lodging/travel expenses, so on and so on. But honestly, I race for fun and am happy to front these costs on my own. I have a real job to sponsor myself with such costs. What I really look for is a product or service deal. For instance, my Physical Therapist offers free therapy and sports massage at a great discount. My local Chipotle comps my meals there.  I have a coach I often consult for training advice and he gives it freely. While my shop sponsor would love to give me all the gear I needed for racing free of charge, I understand they can’t, and instead I am extremely grateful they are able to offer me a nice discount. You see where I am going with this.

Some products that would be useful include (but are not limited to):

  • Fruit smoothies- I love fruit, but love it even more in smoothie form. No better way to get high quality nutrients your body demands from high intensity exercise
  • Organic meats/dairy
  • Any other high quality food/ Restaurant
  • Coaching/ Training Plans
  • Cycling Equipment

Now, for what you get in return:

  • My utmost gratefulness
  • A spot on my race jersey to put your company logo
  • A link on my website
  • Possibly product representation on the podium (I threw this pitch at Lonestar Beer since a longneck usually makes it to the podium anyways, but unfortunately they had used up all their marketing money that year)
  • any way I can help market your product or service. I continuously refer people to my therapist and bike fitter/coach, as well as try to get people to try the “Le Burrito” at Chipotle
  • My commitment to you that I will live, train, and race drug-free, eat wholesomely, make the best of my resources, and fight til’ I can’t fight anymore. I will strive to be a role model in my community and among my peers.  I will strive to grow the sports for which I participate and spread the good news and benefits of exercising and living a fulfilling life.
